I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am not a hat person. Hats are uncomfortable, they make hugs awkward, and it’s hard to find one that actually is good quality and stays on my tiny head. But a few days ago, I was doing a studio shoot in my class. My client was a hair stylist/makeup artist who brought some pretty adorable outfits along for her photos. One of them included a super cute black wide-brimmed hat that immediately sparked my interest.
I decided to make conversation and ask whereabouts she found that hat, and she grinned right back and said that she got it from Target, of all places. I kept that information in the back of my mind, and a couple of days later, I went scouring across the addictive store.
Long story short, that beautiful hat has been purchased by me, and it is now sitting on the shelf in my closet, a flower still tucked into the strip of leather from a quick photo shoot yesterday for this post.
Yes, this is one of those hats that you let rest on the back of your head in a halo-looking fashion. I’m definitely not here to say that it fits my head perfectly and doesn’t come off when the breeze starts coming my way, but those are minor details, my friend. Minor details.
Anyways, this hat is good to wear with anything! I wore it to church this Sunday with a denim dress (another potential posting topic) and yesterday I wore it with black jeans, a black shirt, and a plaid shirt over that! It’s pretty safe to say that I am now (slowly but surely) becoming a bit of a hat person, so to speak.
I really hope you enjoyed this post, and you consider buying this hat, as it is my favorite accessory currently. Here is the link to buy it: https://www.target.com/p/women-s-panama-hat-universal-thread-153-black/-/A-53522726
