So lately I’ve been finding some really good book series that have been recommended to me, and I want to share one with all of you today.
This series is called the Aggie’s Inheritance series, by Chautona Havig. It really is a very interesting and creative subplot. This book series is about a young woman named Aggie (short for Agathena) Milliken who’s just starting out her career and getting her life organized. Suddenly, Aggie receives news that her older sister, Allie and her husband have died and left Aggie as guardian of their eight children. Yes, I said eight.
Aggie struggles with juggling the grief 0f losing her older sister and brother in law and caring for eight also grieving children, all the while butting heads with the children’s oppressing grandmother, who is trying to prove Aggie as an unfit guardian for her grandchildren.
This delightful series goes on to 4 books, Ready or Not, (as pictured above) For Keeps, Here We Come, and Ante up.
This series is super relatable coming from the oldest 0f five kids, many mishaps happen, and tears are shed often, but it makes for valuable story lines.
I totally recommend this series for everyone. Its great family stories!
