I did a post a couple months ago about e.l.f mascara.
I explained a couple things about the product, but not the brand. Lately I’ve been using a few e.l.f. products and I really like them, they’re cheap and last awhile. I’ve recently gotten my makeup-loving hands on some beautiful matte lipstick. I’m completely in love. I also have a few makeup brushes from the e.l.f. brand. They’re really soft and nice and they’re my favorite thing to apply makeup with. So, let’s recap. I have mascara, makeup brushes, and lipstick from e.l.f. I got all these things from Target and they’re simple yet beautiful. Some people think that the mascara is chunky and not very good quality. I like the chunks because it adds more mascara to the eyelashes, but I brush it off and it makes my lashes look thicker and blacker. You’ll have to decide that for yourself. In my mascara post I started off with an experiment that my grandma and I did. It explained that we compared my e.l.f. mascara to her Maybelline Great Lash and the e.l.f mascara won, making her eyelashes look thicker, blacker and longer. I recommend the mascara if you’re tired of the same old thing and you need a fresh look! Now for the lipstick. My e.l.f. Blushing Brown velvet matte lipstick is the finest fashion, while only costing about $3. (Blushing Brown is the color, Velvet matte is the kind) it’s almost pink, while having a brown tint, giving it the name ‘Blushing Brown’ It’s color is beautiful, and it stays on for at least an hour. It’s not sticky, and it goes for any occasion. Put on a little, it looks almost pink, while putting on a lot, it’s a definite brown. I like to go somewhere in the middle. Go ahead and check into it if you need some new lip looks! Ok, now the makeup brushes. I own a large brush that I use for blush, and two eyeshadow brushes. They’re soft, and can easily be cleaned. I really like them mostly because they’re soft, but get the job done. I hate stiff, rough brushes that make your cheeks more red than the blush. 🙂 All of these products are amazing and if you hate spending a ton of money on makeup, fear no more! Go ahead to Target or your local store that sells e.l.f. and go on a shopping spree!
